A New Revolution

"We the People"

Have we forgotten our history ? How our founding fathers were tired of tyranny and oppression from European dictators and travel the ocean in search of a new land were freedom could be found ?We have filled our courts and municipal building across the nation with so many laws and restrictions on freedom, you need a lawyer to put a shed on "your" property. And the taxes on "your" property are so our of control I question whether we actually own it or just rent it from the government. Some recent events have me scratching my head asking "why"? For example:

• The government thinks it can run health care.
• The government is spending trillions of dollars we don't have.
• We refuse to close our boarders

Healthcare

Lets look at healthcare for a minute. We live in an era where bridges are falling down in disrepair, the roads are filled with pot holes, the military looses millions of dollars that it cannot account for, and our educational systems is the most costly in the world but our children produces third rate test scores and cannot compete on internal levels with high rates of success. So my "why" question is "why" would anyone trust the government with more of their money to squander on health care. My other question is "why" do people from other nations travel to America when the need top rate medical attention ? Why don't they bother to fly to nations with socialized medicine? The answer is that we have the best healthcare professionals in the world. The government should not be dabbling in healthcare and making a mess of it like it has in every other example we have of government mismanagement.

Increasing Debt

I don't know about you, but I have never heard of any rational person saying "boy, I am so far in debt, I think I'll buy a car. That will fix all my economic problems". Yet this it exactly the type of irresponsible behavior exhibited in Washington. We are spending money with no checks and balances and without care for future generations. During the past year the company I work for has increased cost savings projects, implemented hiring freezes and salary freezes, innovated to streamline internal precesses to increase the efficiency of employees, and adapted to the changes in the market. Yet Washington has done the opposite, and has even increased the economic burden of the American taxpayers and our employers that create jobs. This is why we need "real" change in Washington, not rhetoric.

Boarders

I cannot understand "why" politicians do not support closing the boarders and protecting the sovereignty of our nation. I would like to understand why that is considered a bad thing. We need law and order, and cannot provide adequate protection of our homeland if we are prevented from keeping people from entering the country illegally. I thought 9/11 would be a wake-up call for our nation, but I fear we have fallen asleep and become complacent once again. My question is again "why"? I believe this tough issue is being avoided by politicians that to not have the fortitude to stand up for what is right and just for the nation, and they are putting their political careers ahead of national security. In my eyes this is the definition of "Treason"!

What Next ?

We need to work together to rid ourselves of career politicians and elect a new government. When I say we I mean all Americans, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and Tea Party members. This is our government. "Government For the People and By the People." And its time we take back America. We can all do our part. Volunteer for candidates that will bring back responsibility and integrity to Washington and that will support the moral foundation set forth by our founding fathers.
